Due to the impact of the pandemic, ISPO had been suspended for several years. Its resumption this year holds extraordinary significance. Dr. George Wood attended the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) council meeting in Munich, Germany, where he was awarded the "Life Time Honorary Director" during the official dinner. This award recognizes Dr. Wood's 20 years of dedication to WFSGI, during which he has tirelessly contributed to various affairs of the organization. Throughout this time, Dr. Wood has forged valuable friendships with directors from various countries, experiencing their unwavering support and assistance across many fronts.

On Nov. 28th, 2022, Mr. George Wood, the Board Director of World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry, attended the 2nd annual board meeting in Munich, Germany. At the WFSGI official dinner, Mr. Wood was honored to receive the award of 《Life Time Honorary Director of WFSGI》. It has been more than two decades for being a board director at WFSGI. During this period of time, Mr. Wood not only has voiced for Taiwan’s sporting goods industry on the international stage, but also have known many board directors from many countries and built solid and valuable friendship. He had received continuous support and assistance from various aspects.

At WFSGI’ official dinner, in Mr. Wood’s awarding speech, he especially express that he comes from Taiwan, Republic of China, and Chinese Taipei as some people called….. He has insisted that he is the representative of Taiwan’s sports industry with a firm belief and position.

AROFLY, dedicated to the development of professional cycling power meters, and computer equipment manufacturer TUL Technology jointly launched the "Flying Seed Cultivation Program" in 2021. The program sponsored the Da Jia Junior High School cycling team in Taichung City. Recently, the team achieved excellent results at the 2022 National Secondary School Games track events. AROFLY and TUL Technology stated that in order to assist in the continuous development of grassroots cycling athletes in Taiwan and help them shine, they will expand their support to include promising junior and senior high school cycling teams such as Da Jia Junior High School and Linyuan High School. They will provide the latest knowledge in sports science and training programs. By utilizing scientifically advanced equipment such as Taiwan-manufactured cycling power meters and training platforms, they aim to enhance riding skills, thereby assisting Taiwanese cyclists in achieving outstanding results in international competitions.
